A slightly darker Holiday story

Brick Colton has taken a lifetime of pain and loneliness and a career in the military and made himself into a top notch assassin. He is good at his job, but always takes care to make sure no innocents are caught in the crossfire. An assassin with a conscious you might say. So Brick has more than a few questions when he is hired to kill an Accountant that spends his nights playing Santa Claus for orphans.
Robin Marvington’s life is so dreary that when Brick shows up at his door with news that he has been hired to kill him, Robin would probably accept the bullet for breakfast. Together, the two of them set out to find out who wants Robin dead, and why. Somewhere along the way the lines between would be target and killer blur, and the two become lovers. Yes, you guessed it, this cannot end well.
Oh happy day! I just loved every little thing about this book. Two men, total opposites, drawn into each other’s lives like magnets. The push and pull was like watching a tennis match and Robin gave his big, burly, former almost killer turned bodyguard and possible companion just as good as he got. I was so engrossed in this story that when I read ‘the end’ I shrieked. I did not want it to end. There is the mystery aspect… who hired Brick, and why? Some suspense… will they figure it out before whomever it was figures out that Brick isn’t following through, and hires someone else? Oh and the Alpha male alert… Brick is sex on a stick, I’m just saying.
If you are looking for a great Holiday read that isn’t all hearts and flowers, carolers singing out in the snow, then this is the story for you. Fast paced and intense, well written and well worth a read.

Cute Holiday read!!!

4 Santa stars!! This was such a surprisingly fun read!! It was so much more exciting and fun than I thought!
Brick is a hired assassin and he’s good at what he does. His next assignment on the list is to kill Santa Claus, well a man,Robin, who plays Santa Claus at an orphanage. This assignment hits a little too close to home for Brick since he grew up in an orphanage. But the further into the assignment he goes, he realizes that Robin may be being set up. And while he’s investigating this Robin and Brick start to develop a relationship and feelings start getting involved. Will Brick figure all this out before it’s too late??
This was such a great, fun book!!! I really loved this book. Not a disappointment at all!!

Only Dirk Greyson would pair up Santa and an Assassin.... Definitely a must read for the holidays!

This is a sweet, yet still hot, novella for the holidays from Dirk Greyson that I devoured in less than one sitting. That’s not because it’s that short or boring (nothing of the sort!) but because it was that engaging and fun. Brick is an assassin who is exceptional at what he does. It’s a job and those he kills need it for some reason, no problem. Until he’s taped to kill Robin, the man who does these things like play Santa for orphans and homeless kids. How does Santa deserve to be dead?
Yeah, what’s an assassin to do when he develops a conscious over a sweet and sexy man like Robin? Well, you find out why someone wants him dead, of course! It’s the journey that gets these two men there that will steal your heart and make you go awwww…. I’ve loved Dirk’s novels, and this is just as captivating, if a little more light-hearted and fun (while still being so “Dirk”). Definitely a must read for the holidays!
