I cannot speak highly enough of this book— I've purchased three copies, I always end up giving them away as gifts to close friends.
Sarah Jean Alexander has perfected the art of writing poetry from the heart without superfluous frill. You'll be floored from the first poem and glued until the end.

it stays

This is the type of book that changes you. That makes a place for itself under your skin and stays there. Permanently.
And as much as you’d love to devour it in one sitting, you won’t be able to because the breaks you’ll have to take to remind yourself to breathe between each poem are more than you would expected.
Read this, you’ll thank yourself later.
